Thank you....
for saying all the things we don't talk about...
for not saying you're sorry for the choices you have made in your life....
for admitting that sometimes your kid doesn't like you or you don't like your kid....
for admitting that most days it's just keep the kid alive...
for validating all of us who are the stereotype but don't want to be...
2 kids, a husband, a great job, three maniacal cats and still I don't feel "normal". I'm afraid of my choices (right or wrong), unsupported when I go against societal norm, unlistened to when I ask why exactly we have to do it that way....I'm human, a mom, a MOM, a maker of mistakes, brownies, strange songs and baby noises; overweight, undertall, beautiful, ugly, saggy, perfect, all the things a mom should be and all the things we shouldn't.
Thanks for a place to ask the questions society says we shouldn't and a validation for doing it.
