New Mexico Workshop & Retreat – September, 2019

With Ariel Gore

September 27-30 in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico

Friday evening meet & greet and writing, Saturday 12-3 pm writing workshop, Sunday 10 am-1 pm writing workshop, with additional drawing meet-ups
In the writing workshop, we’ll generate new material & mess with old stuff that needs new life. We’ll meet three hours Saturday afternoon & three hours Sunday to experiment with voice, merged genre & disruptive structure. We’ll break ourselves out of worn-out limits, and make a plan to materialize the project(s) we’re working on. Additionally, there will be a Friday evening meet & greet, a drawing meet up, and a possible Monday morning meet-up. (I know some people may need to leave Sunday evening . . . But if you can stay in Truth or Consequences all three nights, I think that would be grand.)
Truth or Consequences, New Mexico is famous for its healing hot springs—and the magic water is pumped into the soaking tubs of most of the lodging options in Truth or Consequences including the Pelican Spa (communal tubs) and Fire Water Lodge, where most rooms have private hot-spring tubs.
Meets in Truth or Consequences, NM, location TBA. Workshop size is super limited. Please sign up early!
Workshop cost is $175 – lodging not included
A $60 deposit saves your spot
